One Genuine antique Silver Coin Countermarked Silver 1 Shilling Great Britain 1787 George III TB Tobago VF+ Rare. After 1763 Tobago was converted to a plantation economy by British settlers and enslaved Africans. Host coin looks to be Die Verity. No semée of hearts in Hanoverian shield. Although I bought this coin in the UK I took it with me when I visited Trinidad recently so with certainty, it has at least been within sight of Tobago!
