Extremely rare sterling silver half pint tankard presented as the equivalent of a World War One Tribute Medal by the parishioners of a small country parish in Cumbria in the north west of England. The tankard, which is in superb condition, is lightly gilded internally with the handle topped with an acanthus leaf decoration. The quality engraving reads.
